Welcome

Hello Friends

Well here we are at the end of another season, and what better way to end than with The Rocky Horror Show!! Rocky is not only a great show, it’s also a metaphor for us coming out of the cocoon that is the theatre world. It is always a pleasure to bring our off-beat, quirky sense of theatre to Bozeman, but we would be lying if we didn’t say that by the end of the season we weren’t ready to toss off our costumes and jump back into the orgy of life outside the Equinox. After all, it’s in those moments that we absorb the desires of our patrons in their native habitat, and fantasize about our next season. (Wow, that was weird, but I’m too tired to change it.)

We would like to thank all of you for your support throughout this excellent season as we saw many of your faces repeatedly! If you remember (I barely do, it seems so long ago) the 2011-2012 Season opened with a reprise of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and then we introduced Bozeman to Adult Puppet Theatre with “Frankenstein: A Love Story. We ended 2011 while celebrating the holidays in our own inimitable and tirelessly neurotic fashion by offering you “Every Christmas Story Ever Told.”

2012 began with another new venture as we presented a soon-to-be favorite, “Equinox Theatre’s All Original Comedy Revue.” The Season rolled on as we sold out nearly the entire run of “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”. And then we had an unprecedented event as we dropped into the living room of the superbly delivered “God of Carnage” (in co-operation with Actors Theatre of Montana), and SOLD OUT all 7 performances!!.

Stay tuned as we decide what we’re going to do with the next season. Until then please join us this Summer for 9 new Radio Plays in our “Don’t Close Your Eyes” series.

Thank you again for being part of the Equinox Theatre!!
