The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

With The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Equinox reprises last season's success, once again bringing back the thrill of puberty and the angst of overachieving in this Tony Award winning show that chronicles the experience of six adolescent outsiders vying for the spelling championship of a lifetime.

Supervised by "grown-ups" who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, these kids learn that winning may not be the only thing and losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser. This musical celebrates an improbable collection of heroes: a peculiar yet endearing group of refugees for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can harmonize and sing solo at the same time.
