He just can't leave the room.

Coming Up On The Main Stage

Me!

The Continuing Story of a Boy Who Refuses to Grow Up

Four 2 Nights Only! -- Verge Theater welcomes our own Christian McDaniel for a solo performance that combines a collection of his own short stories into a one hour play that tells a tall tale of a boy growing up into, well.... a bigger boy. Combining personal anecdotes, incurable romanticism and his ability to remain an inveterate dreamer, Christian’s solo performance cautions us against the slippery slope that too quickly rushes us to adulthood.

Part Billy Crystal and part Italo Calvino, Second City trained Christian McDaniel's quick hour of funny will remind you to slow down and enjoy your Cap'n Crunch while you actively create the cartoon of your life. Christian McDaniel has been doing funny voices and performing for fifteen years. Originally from Detroit, Christian has performed in many Second City student shows, as well as written and performed his own original show on the Second City alternative stage!

ME! will run at Verge Theatre for 2 nights only, Friday May 31st and Saturday June 1st at 8pm. Tickets are only $5 and can be purchased online at equinoxtheatre.com or by phone at 587-0737, ext.1. Verge Theater is located at 2304 North 7th Ave (in the strip mall across from Murdoch's).
